It has come to our attention that earlier this month Stanford University has successfully treated a group of Stroke patients and the improvements have been amazing. According to an article published by the College’s News Centre, 18 patients received adult stem cells in the affected areas of the brain, and the recovery they experienced was substantial.
During the investigation, which was carried by researchers from the Stanford University School of Medicine, the entire treatment was proven to be perfectly safe and surprisingly effective in restoring motor function in patients suffering from Stroke. One 71-year-old wheelchair-bound patient was walking again. This wasn’t just, ‘They couldn’t move their thumb, and now the can.’ Patients who were in wheelchairs are walking now”.
