Understanding Cerebral Palsy
Cerebral Palsy is a neurological disorder resulting from a brain injury or a brain malformation that occurs whilst the child’s brain is yet at an underdeveloped state- before birth, during birth, or after. Some of the risk factors that can lead to such malfunction include accidents, infections, injury, or medical misuse.
A child with Cerebral Palsy will suffer from physical and mental impairment. Whilst the symptoms in each patient varies, some of the common signs are impairment of muscle tone, dysfunctional gross and fine motor functions, balance, control, reflexes and more. Most of the patients with Cerebral Palsy also suffer from learning disabilities as a result of intellectual underdevelopment.
There is currently no cure for Cerebral Palsy. However, in several cases, Stem Cell Treatment has played a big role in alleviating some symptoms of the condition.
Today doctors still cannot find the main cause of this disease that damages a certain brain function, but with Verita Neuro, there is an alternative treatment that can make a difference.
