Lais Lillian undergoes Stem Cell Treatment for Cerebral Palsy
28 year-old Lais Lillian was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Her mother, was determined not to just accept things as they are and actively sought out ways to treat her daughter. She eventually came across Unique Access and reached out to them.
After a period of time, Unique Access took on her case. Lais, her mother, and her father, flew to Bangkok to receive treatment.
Lais experiences evident improvements after treatment
After receiving treatment, Lais’ mother observed numerous improvements in her daughter’s movements. Lais demonstrated better control over her legs and arms. In terms of cognition, she is better able to understand and execute movements. All of these improvements were not observable prior to her Stem Cell Treatment with Unique Access.
Lais also received Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Aquatherapy. All of which were appreciated by Lais’ family and have proven contributory to the progress experienced by Lais.
Lais mother, also had good things to say about the quality of care they received.
I see something different here. When they do this, they don’t just work the painful part. They work with the emotions too. They do the exercise, this helps the patient a lot. They didn’t just play with my daughter. They did it with older patients too. I think this is very important. Those painful times have become happy for patients. That’s what they do here.”

A word of advice from Lais family
Lais’ mother mentioned the need to stay strong for our loved ones.
I’ve always known that this wouldn’t be quick, this has been our struggle for 15 years. My daughter does have dreams. Don’t give up on your children. Don’t give up on your loved ones. Don’t give up.”

What is Cerebral Palsy?
Cerebral Palsy is a degenerative disease that impairs motor function. The condition is caused by brain injury or abnormal brain development during the a person’s early years.
The condition negatively affects motion, muscle coordination and control, as well as oral motor function. Other common effects of the condition include seizures, impairment of hearing and/or vision, as well as intellectual impairment.
While the condition is considered non-life threatening, the effects of the disease are usually evident throughout the course of life of an individual.
At present, conventional medicine has yet to find a cure for the disease. However, progress is being made in the area of Stem Cell Treatments. Research done by various organizations over the past ten years has suggested that Stem Cell Therapy is the most promising option to treat Cerebral Palsy. Research suggests that this form of therapy not only functions to prevent further damage but to reverse the neurological damage as well.
Verita Neuro offers Stem Cell Treatments in conjunction with various support treatments such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Aquatherapy. All of which are geared towards helping patients regain motor function, coordination, muscle strength, and speaking ability.
