Nicole O’Brien was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of one – a condition which she has now lived with for as long as 56 years. The disease, caused by a brain injury or an abnormal development of the brain before, during, or after childbirth, has forced her to become dependent on other people as a result of her impaired ability to use her left leg, arm, trunk as well as having limited control over her right hand and leg.
Nevertheless, after hearing about Stem Cell Treatment provided by Unique Access; a treatment which has helped patients with similar conditions as herself, Nicole was given a renewed sense of hope at the thought of becoming physically stronger than she has ever been at any stage of her life.
Her wish is to travel to Bangkok to receive this breakthrough Stem Cell Treatment, along with other supportive therapies including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Aquatic Therapy to help improve her condition.
However, with financial restraints, Nicole O’Brien is working hard to reach out to many well-wishers who could help her and donate to making her wish come true.
The treatment could potentially improve her motor function, balance, coordination and give back some muscle tone, muscle mass, and muscle strength together with enhancing her gross and fine motor skills.
Nicole is looking forward to experiencing improvements in her own condition after seeing the progress made by many others who have received Stem Cell Treatment.
