Victoria is only four years old, yet, unlike other children her age, she doesn’t quite get the chance to be as playful and carefree. She suffers from Septo-optic Dysplasia (SOD), an illness that prevented her from being able to walk freely without knocking on objects and harming herself as a result of poor vision.
Before visiting Global Stem Cells in Bangkok, Victoria’s vision was largely distorted, this prevented her from being able to see much. However, only four weeks after receiving Stem Cell Therapy from the facilities in Bangkok, her vision became clearer than before, allowing her to perceive objects around her and being able to walk more independently. Her vision became a bit more focused too and she also speaks more now.
Aching for their child to gain better health, her Brazilian parents were in search of the best treatment to help their ailing daughter. After contacting Global Stem Cells in Thailand, the family of three made the trip from Brazil to Bangkok in the hopes that Stem Cell Therapy, would be the answer they had been looking for. This was a leap of faith that they are now more than glad they took – a second chance for their daughter.
Septo-optic Dysplasia is an illness where a child is diagnosed with two or more of the following: optic nerve hypoplasia, midline brain abnormalities and pituitary gland abnormalities. It is a rare condition and can affect both boys and girls, causing them to be visually impaired. It is also present at birth.
To combat the Septo-optic Dysplasia symptoms, various treatment methodologies are required to deal with the various facets of the illness. This is why Global Stem Cells sought to give Victoria a comprehensive Integrative Treatment package.
Is there any advice to those considering a treatment similar to that which Victoria received? Victoria’s father says: “There’s always a chance, so, I definitely recommend Stem Cell Therapy to everyone.”
