Bunreth from Cambodia, was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Although the doctors back in Cambodia told her there was no treatment option that would be suitable for her, Bunreth went ahead to find another solution, this was how she learnt about Stem Cell Treatment.
ALS Patient’s Improvements following Stem Cell Treatment
After finding us online and travelling to Bangkok for the Regenerative Treatment, she is now able to speak and walk better. Her motor functions have improved as well; she is now able to open and close bottles with more ease than before.
While in Bangkok, Bunreth received, as part of her treatment plan, Aqua Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech therapy. This was in combination with stem cell injections. To help with her diet, she also had a nutritionist made available to her.
Bunreth was pleased at everything that awaited her in Bangkok. She was in awe of how friendly and caring the medical staff was, and the facility was equally impressive and convenient as it is next to a shopping centre – with a great variety of food.
Bunreth notes that her Patient Representative was very informative and quick to reply to all her queries, giving her the confidence she and her nephew needed to take the treatment on.
When asked about the general treatment his auntie experienced and what he would say to other ALS patients considering a similar treatment as she received, Bunreth’s nephew said, “It is the best choice!”
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Facts
ALS has been established to affect more men than women. In 90 to 95 percent of all ALS cases, the disease occurs apparently at random with no clearly associated risk factors.
The disease can affect people of any age, though it usually strikes in late middle age. ALS usually announces itself with persistent weakness or spasticity in an arm or leg, causing difficulty using the affected limb. Sometimes the problem originates in the muscles controlling speech or swallowing.
