Stem Cell Treatment For Brazilian ALS Patient
Aurelio was diagnosed with ALS whilst in Brazil. After travelling to Bangkok to receive Stem Cell Treatment, he has now decided to share his story with other patients and their families who may be considering a similar course of treatment.
Improvements
After coming to us and receiving Stem Cell Treatment, Aurelio has been able to experience some improvements such as being able to walk better and not needing the belt he previously wore to help with his balance. He is very grateful that the staff who took care of him were extremely wonderful and empathetic.
Word of Advice from Aurelio
Asked to give some advice to other patients who are considering Stem Cell Treatment, Aurelio says they should seek the treatment and visit the facilities as fast as they can as they have the opportunity and good fortune to do so.
It’s a privilege for me to be here.”
Understanding ALS
ALS is a neurodegenerative disease; with most people who develop ALS being between the ages of 40 and 70, with an average age of 55 at the time of diagnosis.
However, cases of the disease do occur in persons in their twenties and thirties. Generally though, ALS occurs in greater percentages as men and women grow older.
Stem Cell Treatment can help to slow down the progression of the illness and provide patients with an improved quality of life.
