Kenneth’s Chronic Kidney Disease Treatment Story
Kenneth, a 61-year-old man from USA, had Chronic Kidney Disease and contacted Verita Neuro in Bangkok for treatment. Doctors back home told him that his kidneys were down to 25 percent and in five to ten years he might have to undergo dialysis and wait for a kidney donation. Kenneth would rather not go through that process so he made contact with Dr. Nasir Majeed, sending in his blood test, where the doctor evaluated his condition and suggested treatment.
Kenneth’s Treatments and Progress
The treatment plan involves sending Kenneth’s blood sample to Dr. Nasir for evaluation of his condition before beginning the Stem Cell Treatment.
“One of the improvements I can see right now immediately is there is coloration on my face in just a few days. I feel good,”
said Kenneth after undergoing Stem Cell Treatment. (Kidney results were not readily available at the time of interview, because it had to be tested)
“The facility is phenomenal. They keep it clean, there’s plenty of staff. The rooms
are nice. Everybody was professional, so I have no complaints.”“I talked to a doctor (Dr. Nasir) here and he seemed very intelligent and a good judge of character and made me feel comfortable.”
A Word of Advice for Chronic Kidney Disease patients
Kenneth advised patients to get Stem Cell Treatment with Verita Neuro.
“There’s more personal care, so if I had something major wrong with me, I’d rather come over here and have my problem taken care here than go to a local hospital back home where you’re just a number.”
“I’d tell them to get a hold of Dr. Nasir, talk and send him your blood work to be analyzed by him. When you spend your money on yourself you’re never wasting it because if you let your condition go you can’t take nothing with you. It’s a positive experience.”
What is Chronic Kidney Disease?
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), is a gradual loss of renal function over a duration of months or years. It often leads to mortality and morbidity in western countries and effects 11% of the adult population. It can progress towards end-stage Renal Disease (ESRD), which has currently has no cure and requires renal replacement therapy including dialysis or renal transplantation.
CKD results from more unremitting causes such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic infection, glomerulonephritis and interstitial nephritis, vasculitis, and congenital disorders. The signs and symptoms are those associated with higher levels of blood urea and creatinine that included fatigue, fluid retention in lower limbs (edema), troubled concentration, lack of appetite, and dry and itchy skin.
The goals in nephrology are the reduction of injury, the delay of progression, or renal replacement therapy consisting of two alternatives: renal transplantation or dialysis. New therapeutic studies for tissue repair have surfaced and one of the best approach is the use of Stem Cell Treatment to reduce injury in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). One of this treatment involves using Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC), which is useful in its ability to differentiate into many types of functional cells, and anti-inflammatory properties, which could help it to become a major Stem Cell Treatment for Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
